The Queens is the most famous landmark hotel in Leeds city centre. Opened as a hotel in 1937, this historic property occupies a prime position next to Leeds Train Station.
The Queens Hotel is located on City Square, within walking distance of the city centre attractions and within easy access of towns and tourist spots in the Yorkshire area.
Shopping in Leeds is better than anywhere else. Many historic buildings have been converted to beautiful ornate shopping malls, such as the Victoria Quarter or the Corn Exchange, which offer a choice of unique high fashion boutiques. Also visit Armley Mills, which was once the world's largest woollen mill and where you can now retrace the steps of the Industrial Revolution. Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Harewood House are also just a short drive from Leeds and well worth a visit.
